The Hike 03:02
Back up from the traffic Everyone got old You were a soul vacation But it's time to go I'll hike until my legs come off Meditate until I lose myself If my instincts got me where I am Is it in my best interest to go against them? I'll hike until my legs come off Can only do so many mental health walks Picked up some new habits from you Collaborate on each others traits But they didn't go away when you decided to Are mine still with you?

Good News 03:58
I'm glad you've been around You say you're better now You say that you've improved It's good you've been around You say you're better now You say you're still confused How can anyone know what is good for their health? They don't know, they don't know How can I know what's true? Think too much to think things through They don't know, they don't know It's good you've been around You say you're better now You say that you've improved I'm giving up my dreams I hope it sets me free I'm waiting for good news How can anyone know what is good for their health? They don't know, they don't know How can I know be with you? Think too much to think things through They don't know, they don't know

Prone 04:16
Oh my friend why don't you stay with us? All my friends have gone and turned to dust Costing us productive thoughts lately While living off the food between my teeth Prone to loneliness but you adjust Prone on the floor yeah but you I trust Prone to loneliness but you adjust Alone in a room Yellow and blue Alone in a room I didn't know that this was the plan Used to be an old soul but now I'm just an old man Good memories at least they'll be just that Instead of longing to go back Prone to loneliness but you I know Prone on the floor an up and down show Prone to loneliness but you I know

about

‘Tropical Drone’ is the third full-length album by Vancouver's very own Jackson Ramsey. The record delves into themes of loss, new beginnings, and the cyclical nature of time. Building upon the foundation laid by their previous 2022 album, ‘Youngness’, this latest release features a sonic mixture of janky samples, Bonham-esque drums, and thick synth bass. What sets ‘Tropical Drone’ apart is the heightened presence of vocals, which now take center stage, no longer masked by pitch shifters and vocoders. At times the album showcases a refreshing shift from large drums to tighter kits, accompanied by an expansive percussion section.’Tropical Drone’ was born out of the band's achievement of winning the top prize at CiTR's Shindig which included a record deal with Fanta Records.
